Meet our team

My name is Michelle McDonald and I am the proud owner of Michelle McDonald Speech-Language Therapists. I obtained my degree in 2014 at the University of Pretoria. I completed my community service year in 2015 at Job Shimankana Tabane Hospital in Rustenburg. In 2016 I returned to Pretoria where I joined a paediatric practice where I gained valuable experience in private practice. In April 2018 I took the leap of faith and opened my own practice.

I enjoy working with pre-school and school-going children and have come to realise how important it is to work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best results for each child. I believe that it is extremely important to make use of games to teach children new concepts. I further value the importance of parent-based services.

My name is Kayla Kruppa. I am a Speech-Language Therapist, and I obtained my degree at the University of Pretoria in 2019. I completed my Master’s degree in 2020. I come from a small town called Secunda, and I completed my community service at Evander Hospital in 2021.

Children with learning difficulties, such as ADHD and dyslexia have a very special place in my heart. I am a strong believer that these children are vastly misunderstood, and that they can change the world with their creative imaginations. I am based at Michelle McDonald’s Hartebeespoort and Brits practice. My job is my passion and I look forward to walking a path with all my patients and team!
